December 8, 2021Current Resident Alex says…
I love Rocky Ridge Retirement because it is perfect! The people are wonderful, the food is great; there are a lot of choices.
There is weekly entertainment and there are plenty of activities and you can chose whether or not to participate. I was able to spend 5 months here with my wife before she passed. The only regret I have is that we didn’t make the move earlier.
We are all very well taken care of. I have always said that I love it here and I really do; I couldn’t have picked a better place to live!

December 8, 2021I moved into Rocky Ridge with my husband in October 2011, at which time we knew he was failing, as was my eyesight. When my husband passed at the end of November, I was surrounded by supportive and friendly people who made that time of transition better than I expected. Since then, there have been many changes and I continue to be pleased with my decision to move here.
I am actively engaged in all the activities offered, and I especially enjoy the exercise classes, live entertainment, and the fun experienced with my fellow residents.
All of my family have been involved in various activities here, including Christ-mas parties, sleigh rides, breakfast events, private dining, and throwing parties here.

December 7, 2021I have quite enjoyed it over the last 10 years.
I feel secure here. Everyone knows everyone, it’s like living in a small town.
The neighbors look out for each other.

December 7, 2021Living at Rocky Ridge is ideal. I’m able to chose what I want to do – exercises, going out on the bus, reading, playing on the computer etc. with no housework or cooking!
I’m situated close to my family and couldn’t be happier.
A few years ago, Marg and I were at the pool with our fun-loving program director and the conversation turned to tattoos. We asked her about the tattoo on her ankle and she
said that we should get one. The next thing we knew we were at the tattoo parlor!! No-one in my family, male or female ever had a tattoo and so you can imagine their surprise when they saw the news that night – there we were getting our tattoos. Silly old woman or a free spirit? You be the judge
