As we move into November, the days are getting shorter and the air is getting cooler with winter just around the corner. New residents to Canada are always told to start a winter hobby to get through the snowy months. Thankfully, we have our residents covered here with a full program of events, crafts and entertainment.
November is also a time of reflection as we recognize Remembrance Day. There will be a ceremony followed by wine and cheese. We would like to thank our very own veterans for their courage, strength and service to our country. Lest we forget.
We have some great entertainment this month including the ever popular and hilarious Pic-tune-ary with Ruth Fergerson.
Christmas Door decorating begins on November 23rd – this is a fun event where residents and staff decorate their suite/office doors. There will then be an opportunity for residents to vote on their favorite door.
We will be hosting a Christmas Market on Tuesday, November 28th. This is a great opportunity to support local vendors and buy some gifts for family and friends. Personal Touch Fashions will be here later that week for those all important outfits for the festive season.
Our residents will be getting into the festive spirit with the ‘Kick off to Christmas’ event with entertainment and Christmas Cocktails being held later in the month.
